My journey learning to become a programmer (self taught)
Started in Nov 2021 now it's early 2022 i've learned a lot but still not sufficient to become a developer. I've tried Freecodecamp, Udemy, and lastly Scrimba. So far i find Scrimba the most enjoyable to learn for the following reasons:
- the interactive screencast, i can code directly into the screen that instructor used to teach. With Udemy i had to switch back and forth between my editor and the tutorial. With FCC, i had to read so it takes more effort
- Scrimba offer more materials compared to Udemy. Udemy full stack course offers mostly general materials to get your feet dipped in water and ready for more intermediate studying.
- Scrimba curriculum also make it easier to students to learn and practice what they have learn as it goes like this: html => css => javascript => html => css => javascript. Whereas in udemy it just goes on. In conclusion, i still wanna learn developing and still gonna keep on learning on scrimba. I will try to write once a week updating on my progress.
